The compact Subaru Crosstrek will premiere at Camping & Caravaning Expo 2024. Visitors to the exhibition will be able to see another exhibit from the Japanese brand - Outback 4DVENTURE.
The new Subaru model takes over the legacy of the SUBARU XV, which has become the Japanese brand's bestseller in Europe.The new name is a combination of the words "crossover", the class to which the car belongs, and "trekking", which immediately identifies the character and spirit of the new model. This name embodies the idea of freedom to move anywhere, both in urban environments and off-road.
The exterior design of the new Crosstrek reflects its rugged and rugged nature. Sharper and more dynamic lines are applied to the exterior of the model, which continues to follow the Subaru DYNAMIC x SOLID philosophy.
The interior of the new Crosstrek has been designed to combine refined aesthetic taste with maximum functionality and comfort for the driver and passengers. The solidity of the exterior is also reflected in the design of the interior, but combined with the quality of a higher class.
The new Crosstrek's infotainment system features an easy-to-use interface that features an 11.6-inch central infotainment display with a full HD touch panel. In addition to the touch buttons, the classic physical buttons continue to be provided for operations that drivers need to perform without taking their eyes off for safe driving.
The new Subaru Crosstrek is equipped with the X-MODE system, which controls the engine, transmission, all-wheel drive system and brakes for optimal traction on slippery surfaces and steep slopes. Different driving modes can be selected to suit different road surfaces and driving conditions. The X-MODE system also features Hill Descent Control, which allows the driver to drive down steep slopes at a safe and constant speed without pressing the brake pedal and focus solely on vehicle control . On the new Crosstrek and for the first time on a Subaru, the X-MODE system is now also available when driving in reverse in hybrid mode. The Crosstrek comes with a minimum ground clearance of 220 mm, along with improved approach and departure angles, making it suitable for a wide range of off-road activities and routes.
The new model features the latest version of EyeSight technology, Subaru's stereo camera driver assistance system. It has a significantly wider detection range (the range is almost doubled). An additional monocular camera has been installed to further improve safety performance. In addition, a radar system is installed in the front part. The new system recognizes two-wheeled vehicles and pedestrians to the left and right of the vehicle. Now using an electric brake booster with enhanced boost, pre-collision brake responsiveness has been improved and operating noise has been reduced.
The Subaru Crosstrek comes with SUBARUSAFE8 – an 8-year bumper-to-bumper warranty with unlimited mileage.
